Descripción del Trabajo

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operational efficiency and maintenance of our facilities in Figueres. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, comfortable, and productive work environment for all employees, managing vendors, optimizing service delivery, and adhering to all regulatory compliance. This role requires strong communication skills in English and a proactive approach to facilities management.

Responsabilidades Clave

  • Manage all aspects of facility operations and maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security systems, and general upkeep.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal building performance and longevity.
  • Oversee and coordinate external contractors and vendors, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and work is completed to high standards.
  • Manage facility budgets, control expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
  • Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Respond to facility-related emergencies and incidents, coordinating appropriate responses and resolutions.
  • Plan and execute space planning, office moves, and refurbishment projects as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of facility assets, maintenance schedules, and service reports.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all facility-related inquiries and issues from internal stakeholders.
  • Implement sustainable practices to reduce the environmental footprint of our facilities.

Habilidades Requeridas

  • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role (minimum 4 years).
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance, and facility best practices.
  • Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration skills.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., FMP, CFM) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Spanish or Catalan is an advantage.
  • Experience with sustainability initiatives in facilities management.
