Descripción del Trabajo
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Editorial Assistant to join our content team. This is an exciting opportunity for an English native speaker with a passion for travel and editorial excellence. You will play a crucial role in supporting our editorial processes, ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of our world-renowned travel content. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. While this role is remote, we are looking for candidates based in the Calpe, Alicante region of Spain.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Assist editors with various stages of content production, including research, fact-checking, and proofreading.
- Manage and organize content assets, including text, images, and maps, in our content management system (CMS).
- Coordinate with writers, photographers, and other contributors to ensure timely submission of materials.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on published content to maintain brand standards and editorial guidelines.
- Support the editorial team in administrative tasks, scheduling, and project tracking.
- Review and edit English language content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of editorial workflows and processes.
Habilidades Requeridas
- English native speaker with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Passion for travel and a keen interest in editorial content creation.
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Prior experience (internship or entry-level) in an editorial, publishing, or content creation role.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
- Basic understanding of SEO principles.
- Proficiency in Spanish or another European language is a plus.
