We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lighting Technician to join our dynamic crew. This role involves assisting with the setup, operation, and dismantling of lighting systems for a variety of events, including concerts, corporate functions, festivals, and theatrical productions. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of lighting equipment and a strong desire to learn and grow within the audiovisual industry. This is an on-site, hands-on role requiring physical stamina and a commitment to teamwork and safety.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of lighting equipment.
• Support the senior lighting technicians in setting up and rigging lighting fixtures, cables, and control systems.
• Operate lighting consoles and related equipment during live events under supervision.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot minor technical issues with lighting equipment.
• Ensure all lighting equipment is safely installed, secured, and adheres to industry standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other crew members, stage managers, and event organizers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, both in the warehouse and on-site.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with the dismantling and packing of equipment post-event.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Basic knowledge of lighting equipment and terminology.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 25 kg).
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to safety protocols and practices.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• 12 months of prior experience in event production, live sound, or stage lighting.
• Technical certification or vocational training in lighting design or a related field.
• Proficiency with common lighting consoles (e.g., Avolites, GrandMA, Chamsys).
• Valid driving license (B or C class).
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and DMX protocols.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Catalan.
