Preply is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Online English Tutors to join our vibrant global community. This role offers the freedom to set your own schedule, rates, and teach from anywhere in the world. As an Online English Tutor, you will provide personalized English language instruction to students of all levels and ages, helping them improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to create your ideal work-life balance.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Conduct engaging and effective one-on-one English lessons via video calls.
• Develop customized lesson plans and materials tailored to individual student needs and goals.
• Provide constructive feedback and assess student progress regularly.
• Motivate and encourage students to achieve their language learning objectives.
• Maintain an up-to-date tutor profile on the Preply platform.
• Manage your lesson schedule and availability efficiently.
• Continuously improve your teaching methodology and stay updated with best practices.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Native or near-native fluency in English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
• Experience with video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Skype).
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field).
• TEFL, CELTA, TESOL, or other teaching certification.
• Previous experience teaching English online or in-person.
• Familiarity with various English language proficiency tests (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL).
• Ability to speak other languages (e.g., Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
