We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our dynamic team in Valencia. This role focuses on supporting UK and US payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing for our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent English communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be an integral part of our payroll services, contributing to the smooth running of complex international payroll processes.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Assist with the preparation and processing of UK and US payrolls, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Verify payroll inputs, including new hires, terminations, changes, and benefit deductions.
- Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support with the calculation of statutory deductions, tax withholdings, and employee benefits.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in payroll systems.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist in preparing payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on UK and US payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll integration.
- Participate in payroll audits and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Familiarity with payroll processes and principles (UK and/or US preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Strong problem-solving abilities
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- Prior experience with payroll software (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors)
- Knowledge of UK and/or US tax regulations related to payroll
- A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
- Experience in a shared service center environment
