Join the renowned École du Ski Français (ESF) Chamonix team as a Ski Instructor / Snowboard Guide for the upcoming winter season! We are seeking highly skilled, enthusiastic, and safety-conscious professionals to deliver exceptional ski and snowboard lessons and guided mountain experiences. You will be responsible for teaching individuals and groups, from beginners to advanced riders, ensuring their safety, enjoyment, and skill development on the slopes of Chamonix. Responsabilidades Clave

• Deliver high-quality ski and/or snowboard lessons to clients of varying ages and skill levels, adhering to ESF teaching methodologies.
• Guide clients safely across diverse mountain terrain, ensuring appropriate routes are chosen based on conditions and client ability.
• Conduct thorough safety briefings and ensure clients understand and follow all safety protocols, including avalanche awareness where applicable.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback and adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles.
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and fun learning environment.
• Manage groups effectively, ensuring all participants are engaged and progressing.
• Maintain professional conduct and appearance at all times, representing ESF Chamonix's high standards.
• Stay informed about snow conditions, weather forecasts, and resort regulations.
• Assist with client registration, equipment checks, and other operational duties as required.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Valid national or international ski/snowboard instructor certification (e.g., Anwärter, Brevet d'État, ISIA Stamp).
• Proven experience teaching skiing or snowboarding to diverse client groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
• Strong knowledge of mountain safety, including avalanche awareness.
• Exceptional skiing or snowboarding ability and technical understanding.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A passion for winter sports and teaching.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Proficiency in additional languages, particularly French or German.
• Advanced first aid certification.
• Experience in off-piste guiding or mountain leadership.
• Knowledge of the Chamonix ski area and its specific conditions.
