We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Cashier to join our Welcome Desk team in Denia. This role is crucial for creating a positive first and last impression for our customers. You will be responsible for processing transactions efficiently, handling customer inquiries and returns, and ensuring a smooth and friendly experience at the front of our store. Responsabilidades Clave

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems, including cash, card, and mobile payments.
• Handle customer returns, exchanges, and resolve minor complaints at the Welcome Desk.
• Greet customers warmly and provide helpful information or direct them to relevant departments.
• Maintain a clean and organized Welcome Desk area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
• Assist with lottery sales, gift card activation, and other specific welcome desk services.
• Verify age for restricted products and adhere to all company policies and legal regulations.
• Collaborate with store management and other team members to enhance customer satisfaction.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Proficiency in Spanish.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role.
• Familiarity with Mercadona's products and services.
• Ability to speak Valencian or English is a plus.
