We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Textile Technologist to join our manufacturing team in Tarifa. This pivotal role involves optimizing production processes, ensuring product quality, and contributing to the development of new textile materials and finishes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in textile science and a passion for driving efficiency and excellence in manufacturing environments. You will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of quality and innovation, working closely with production, R&D, and quality assurance teams.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Monitor and optimize textile manufacturing processes, including weaving, dyeing, finishing, and printing, to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Conduct rigorous testing and analysis of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in production, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and waste.
• Collaborate with the R&D department on the development and scaling-up of new textile products and processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of process parameters, test results, and quality control measures.
• Ensure all manufacturing operations adhere to safety, environmental, and quality management protocols.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff as needed.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, or a related scientific/engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in textile manufacturing or a relevant industrial setting.
• Proficiency in textile testing methods and equipment.
• Strong understanding of textile fibers, yarns, fabrics, and finishing processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in English.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in Textile Science or a related field.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software for textile design or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
