We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Estimator to join our dynamic construction pricing team in Sant Feliu de Guíxols. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing comprehensive cost estimates for various civil engineering projects, from initial concept to final bid submission. This role requires a strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and labor costs, along with the ability to analyze complex data and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. You will play a crucial part in securing new projects and ensuring our competitive edge in the market.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, water infrastructure, and urban developments.
• Review and interpret architectural plans, engineering drawings, specifications, and project scope documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs for all project components, utilizing specialized estimation software.
• Obtain and analyze subcontractor and vendor bids, negotiating favorable terms when necessary.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to develop competitive proposals.
• Identify potential risks, opportunities, and value engineering options to optimize project costs.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of cost data, historical project information, and market trends.
• Present estimates and participate in bid reviews with senior management.
• Ensure all estimates comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proficiency in civil construction estimation software (e.g., Presto, CostX, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical specifications.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional certification in construction estimating (e.g., AACE, RICS).
• Experience with FIDIC contract conditions and international project standards.
• Proficiency in Catalan language.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Catalonia.
