We are seeking a passionate and engaging Wine Tasting Host to join our Visitors Center team in Jerez de la Frontera. As a Wine Tasting Host, you will be the face of González Byass, providing exceptional experiences for our guests from around the world. You will guide visitors through our cellars, educate them on the history and intricacies of Sherry production, and lead them through memorable tasting sessions. This role is ideal for individuals with a deep appreciation for wine, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to superior customer service.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Conduct guided tours of the winery and lead engaging wine tasting sessions for diverse groups of visitors.
• Educate guests on the history of González Byass, the process of Sherry production, and the characteristics of our various wines.
• Ensure all visitors receive a warm welcome and an exceptional, informative, and enjoyable experience.
• Handle sales of wines, spirits, and merchandise, accurately processing transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting tasting room and visitor area.
• Respond to visitor inquiries and provide comprehensive information about our products and services.
• Assist with special events and private tastings as required.
• Collaborate with the Visitors Center team to ensure smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven passion for wine, particularly Sherry, and a desire to learn more.
• Excellent verbal communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to captivate an audience.
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for interacting with international guests.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer literacy for sales and booking systems.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or a wine-related role.
• WSET Level 1 or 2 certification, or equivalent wine education.
• Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., French, German, Mandarin) is a significant advantage.
• Experience with POS systems and reservation software.
