We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Officer to join our International Finance team in Denia. This role is critical in ensuring adherence to global financial regulations, internal policies, and best practices across our international operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of international financial compliance frameworks, including AML, KYC, FATCA, CRS, MiFID II, and other relevant directives. You will be instrumental in identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks, fostering a culture of integrity and ethical conduct within the organization.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with international financial regulations.
- Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices to ensure timely adaptation of internal controls.
- Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to business units on complex international compliance matters.
- Oversee the AML/KYC processes, ensuring robust due diligence and suspicious activity reporting.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports accurately and within established deadlines.
- Deliver compliance training and awareness programs to employees.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and legal counsel as required.
- Investigate and respond to compliance inquiries and potential breaches.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Proven experience as a Compliance Officer in international finance or banking.
- In-depth knowledge of international financial regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, FATCA, CRS, MiFID II).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA Diploma) are a plus.
- Experience with compliance software and GRC platforms.
- Knowledge of other European languages.
