We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Paper Mill Assistant to join our team in Torrevieja. This role is crucial for supporting the smooth operation of our paper production facility, involving significant heavy lifting and manual tasks. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a strong work ethic, committed to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. You will assist with various stages of the paper manufacturing process, ensuring materials are handled correctly and production lines run efficiently.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of raw materials, finished products, and waste materials.
• Assist machine operators with loading, unloading, and monitoring production lines.
• Transport materials between different areas of the mill using manual and powered equipment (pallet jacks, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mill floor, equipment, and work areas.
• Support maintenance activities as required, including basic cleaning and preparation.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures, reporting any hazards or incidents immediately.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure production targets are met.
• Perform quality checks on materials and products as instructed.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Ability to consistently lift heavy objects (up to 25kg) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Basic understanding of English or Spanish for safety instructions.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial setting.
• Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
