We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist with a strong background in international sourcing to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role is crucial for optimizing our global supply chain, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services required for our diverse operations. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating complex international markets, building strong vendor relationships, and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to support our expansive global presence.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for international procurement categories.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new international suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value for DP World.
• Manage the entire procurement lifecycle from requisition to purchase order issuance and supplier management.
• Monitor global market trends, commodity prices, and supply chain risks to inform sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, engineering, finance) to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations, customs, and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and supplier performance.
• Prepare and present regular reports on cost savings, supplier performance, and market analysis.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Minimum 3 years of experience in international procurement or supply chain management.
• Proven experience with international sourcing and supplier relationship management.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse global teams and suppliers.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS, CSCP).
• Experience working in the logistics, maritime, or heavy industry sectors.
• Knowledge of multiple languages relevant to international trade.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
