Sacyr is seeking a skilled and experienced Painter and Decorator to join our dedicated team working on high-end renovation projects primarily catering to our international expat clientele across the Cadiz region, with a focus on Jerez de la Frontera. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paints, varnishes, and other finishes, as well as installing wallpaper and other decorative elements. This role requires precision, an eye for detail, and the ability to deliver exceptional finishes that meet our clients’ exacting standards. You will work closely with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Prepare surfaces for painting and decorating, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming.
• Mix and match paints, ensuring correct consistency and color.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Hang wallpaper and other wall coverings with precision.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality and correct any imperfections.
• Protect furniture, flooring, and other surfaces from paint splatters and damage.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations on all job sites.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and other contractors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide estimates and timelines for painting and decorating tasks when required.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator.
• Excellent knowledge of painting and decorating techniques and materials.
• Proficiency in surface preparation, painting, wallpapering, and finishing.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong understanding of color theory and various paint types.
• Physical stamina and dexterity for manual tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Formal apprenticeship or vocational training in painting and decorating.
• Experience working on high-end residential or commercial projects.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English to communicate effectively with expat clients.
• Knowledge of local building codes and aesthetic preferences in Andalusia.
• Portfolio of previous work demonstrating high-quality finishes.
