We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our dynamic team at a CSIC institute located in Ibiza Town, Balearic Islands. The successful candidate will provide essential support to researchers across various stages of their projects, ensuring the smooth execution of experiments, data collection, and analysis. Responsabilidades Clave

• Conducting literature reviews and synthesizing relevant research findings.
• Assisting with the design and execution of experiments, surveys, or field studies.
• Collecting, organizing, and maintaining research data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Performing preliminary data analysis using statistical software or other relevant tools.
• Preparing research materials, equipment, and laboratory spaces.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records of experimental procedures and results.
• Assisting with the preparation of research reports, presentations, and publications.
• Managing research project logistics, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety protocols and ethical guidelines.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Psychology, Social Sciences).
• Demonstrated understanding of research methodologies and scientific principles.
• Proficiency in data collection and organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Previous experience (1+ year) in a research laboratory or field setting.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS).
• Experience with specific research techniques relevant to environmental or social sciences (e.g., sampling, GIS, qualitative analysis).
• Knowledge of Catalan is a plus.
