We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Picture Frame Builder – Workshop Assistant to join our skilled team in Lavapiés, Madrid. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals passionate about art, craftsmanship, and working with their hands. You will receive comprehensive training in all aspects of picture framing, from material selection and cutting to assembly and finishing. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of our workshop, supporting our framers and ensuring the delivery of beautifully crafted frames.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Assist experienced framers in all stages of the framing process, including measuring, cutting, joining, and finishing frames.
• Prepare framing materials such as mat boards, glass, and backing materials.
• Operate workshop machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently (training provided).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Manage inventory of framing supplies and report low stock levels.
• Assist with packing and handling of completed frames for client pick-up or delivery.
• Learn and apply best practices for art handling and preservation.
• Provide general support to the workshop team as needed.
