We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Pattern Maker / Seamstress to join our luxury atelier in Munich. This crucial role involves transforming design concepts into tangible garments, ensuring impeccable fit, construction, and finish. You will work closely with our design team, contributing to the creation of high-quality, made-to-measure pieces that reflect Escada’s signature style and commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a meticulous eye for detail, extensive knowledge of couture sewing techniques, and proficiency in both traditional and digital pattern making.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Develop accurate and precise patterns from design sketches and specifications, utilizing both manual and CAD methods.
• Execute complex garment construction, including draping, cutting, and sewing, to the highest luxury standards.
• Conduct fittings, analyze garment fit, and make necessary adjustments to patterns and prototypes.
• Collaborate closely with designers to interpret their creative vision and provide technical solutions.
• Manage and organize fabric and material inventories specific to each project.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment within the atelier.
• Assist in quality control processes, ensuring all garments meet Escada's stringent quality benchmarks.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven expertise in pattern making for luxury womenswear.
• Advanced sewing and garment construction skills, including couture techniques.
• Strong understanding of fabric properties, drape, and appropriate handling.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision in all aspects of work.
• Ability to interpret design sketches and translate them into patterns and finished garments.
• Proficiency in flat pattern drafting and garment construction.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or a related field.
• Experience working in a luxury fashion atelier or for a high-end brand.
• Proficiency with CAD pattern making software (e.g., Gerber, Lectra, Optitex).
• Basic knowledge of German language.
• Portfolio showcasing previous pattern making and sewing work.
