We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Oil & Gas Engineer to join our International Projects team. This role is crucial for the successful planning, execution, and optimization of our global upstream and downstream projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in petroleum engineering, process engineering, or a related field, coupled with a proven track record in managing complex projects across diverse international environments. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects meet technical specifications, budget, and schedule, while adhering to the highest safety and environmental standards. Responsabilidades Clave
- Lead and participate in the engineering design, analysis, and optimization of oil and gas facilities, both onshore and offshore.
- Develop and review technical specifications, engineering drawings, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including geologists, geophysicists, and other engineers to ensure integrated project solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and economic evaluations for new and existing projects.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget.
- Ensure compliance with international industry standards, regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Provide technical support and guidance during project commissioning, startup, and operational phases.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for project stakeholders and senior management.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with exposure to international projects.
- Strong understanding of upstream (exploration & production) and/or downstream (refining & petrochemicals) operations.
- Proficiency in engineering software tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II, AutoCAD, simulation software).
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multi-cultural and geographically dispersed teams.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Experience with process safety management (PSM) and risk assessment methodologies.
- Proficiency in Spanish or other languages relevant to Repsol's international operations.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, ISO.
