We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Sound Engineer / DJ to join our dynamic team, specifically focusing on our expat-oriented nightclubs in Tarragona. This dual role requires a technical expert in sound systems who is also a talented DJ capable of curating diverse music selections that resonate with an international audience. You will be responsible for ensuring flawless audio quality, setting up and maintaining equipment, and delivering captivating DJ sets that create an electric atmosphere. Responsabilidades Clave

• Operate and manage all sound equipment, including mixing consoles, amplifiers, speakers, and lighting systems, ensuring optimal performance.
• Perform as a DJ, spinning a wide range of genres (e.g., house, commercial, R&B, international hits) tailored to an expat audience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any audio or technical issues promptly during live events.
• Collaborate with event managers and artists to ensure technical requirements are met for performances.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of sound and DJ equipment.
• Monitor sound levels to comply with venue regulations and ensure guest comfort.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for various events.
• Curate and manage extensive music libraries, keeping up-to-date with current trends and popular international tracks.
• Engage with the audience to gauge musical preferences and adjust sets accordingly.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Sound Engineer and DJ in a nightclub or live entertainment setting.
• Expertise in operating professional sound boards, mixers, and audio processing equipment.
• Proficiency with DJ software (e.g., rekordbox, Serato DJ, Traktor) and hardware (CDJs, turntables).
• Strong understanding of acoustics, signal flow, and sound reinforcement techniques.
• Extensive music knowledge across multiple genres, with an ability to read a crowd and adapt.
• Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills for audio equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Formal education or certification in Audio Engineering or Music Production.
• Fluency in English and conversational Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience specifically catering to expat or international audiences.
