We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Financial Controller to join our corporate finance team in A Coruña. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving financial performance across our global operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, particularly in English, to effectively collaborate with international stakeholders.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Oversee and manage all financial accounting activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management and international stakeholders.
• Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Conduct thorough variance analysis, identify financial trends, and provide actionable insights to support business unit performance.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating effectively with various departments across the organization.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial institutions to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes, systems, and reporting mechanisms.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role (minimum 5 years).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) – essential for corporate communication and international collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting principles (Spanish GAAP experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
• Experience in the retail or fashion industry.
• Proficiency in Spanish to facilitate local integration.
• Experience with international financial operations and multi-currency environments.
