Descripción del Trabajo

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented House Sitter to join our team, offering flexible services to expat homeowners throughout Girona and the surrounding Costa Brava area. This role is perfect for individuals looking for a varied schedule, a high degree of autonomy, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of property care. You will be responsible for overseeing properties, ensuring their security, cleanliness, and functionality, allowing homeowners to relax knowing their investment is in capable hands.

Responsabilidades Clave

  • Conduct regular property checks, inside and out, ensuring security protocols are followed.
  • Perform light cleaning and tidying to maintain a fresh and welcoming environment.
  • Water plants and attend to garden care as instructed by homeowners.
  • Manage mail collection and forward important correspondence.
  • Coordinate with maintenance personnel for minor repairs or scheduled services.
  • Monitor utilities (water, electricity, gas) and report any anomalies.
  • Provide regular updates to homeowners, including photos and reports, on the status of their property.
  • Respond to emergencies or unexpected issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a detailed log of all activities and visits.

Habilidades Requeridas

  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable and trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal (English required, Spanish a plus).
  • Basic computer literacy for reporting and communication.
  • Access to reliable transportation (car) to travel between properties in the Girona area.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

  • Previous experience in house sitting, property management, or hospitality.
  • Knowledge of basic home maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with the Girona and Costa Brava region.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or Catalan.
