We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sailmaker to join our dynamic team in Blanes. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for sailing and precision craftsmanship to contribute to the creation of world-class sails. As a Sailmaker, you will be involved in various stages of the sail production process, from cutting and assembly to finishing and repairs. We welcome candidates who are fluent in English and possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within our specialized craft. Responsabilidades Clave

• Execute precise cutting, assembly, and finishing of sails according to design specifications and production schedules.
• Perform sail repairs, modifications, and maintenance tasks for various sail types and materials.
• Operate and maintain specialized industrial sewing machines and other sailmaking equipment.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure all finished products meet North Sails' high standards.
• Assist with sail packing, shipping, and inventory management.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Contribute to a clean and organized workshop environment.
• Learn and adapt to new techniques and materials in sail design and manufacturing.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Demonstrated ability in precision cutting and measuring materials
• Experience with industrial sewing machines or similar textile manufacturing equipment
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Basic understanding of sail components and function
• Physical stamina to handle large sailcloth panels and stand for extended periods

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Previous experience in sailmaking or a related textile/canvas fabrication role
• Knowledge of various sailcloth materials and their properties
• Formal training or apprenticeship in sailmaking
• Proficiency in Spanish or Catalan is a plus
• Personal interest or experience in sailing
