We are seeking a warm, responsible, and experienced Babysitter with native English proficiency to provide full-time childcare for an expat family residing in Tudela, Navarre. This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of a family’s support system, offering dedicated care and educational enrichment for their children. The ideal candidate will be passionate about child development, possess excellent communication skills, and be adaptable to the dynamics of an international household. This role requires an individual who can create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment, supporting the children’s growth and well-being.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Provide attentive and compassionate care for children, fostering a safe and stimulating environment.
• Engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities (e.g., reading, games, arts and crafts, outdoor play).
• Assist with homework and school projects, ensuring academic support.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, adhering to any dietary restrictions.
• Manage children's schedules, including school pick-ups/drop-offs and extracurricular activities.
• Ensure children's hygiene and assist with bedtime routines.
• Maintain a tidy and organized children's play area and bedrooms.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, activities, and any concerns.
• Handle minor first aid situations and emergencies professionally.
• Plan and execute fun outings and cultural experiences suitable for children in Tudela and surrounding areas.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Native English speaker with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in childcare, particularly with young children.
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
• Ability to create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and highly organized.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Previous experience working with expat families or in multicultural settings.
• Knowledge of Spanish language basics (A1-A2 level) is a plus.
• References from previous childcare roles.
• Degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
