We are seeking a warm, responsible, and experienced Babysitter to join an expat family located in the vibrant L’Eixample district of Valencia. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, ideal for someone looking to integrate into a supportive family environment and assist with the care of two lovely children (ages 3 and 6). The successful candidate will provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing atmosphere, ensuring the children’s well-being and development. This role offers the unique opportunity to work within an international household and gain valuable experience in a dynamic cultural setting.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Provide attentive and engaging care for children aged 3 and 6.
• Organize and supervise age-appropriate activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, and outdoor excursions.
• Assist with light meal preparation and feeding for the children.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for the children.
• Follow family routines and schedules for naps, meals, and bedtime.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding the children's day and any notable events.
• Assist with homework supervision for the older child as needed.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience in childcare, particularly with young children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and safety procedures.
• Ability to create a fun, safe, and stimulating environment.
• Legal right to work in Spain.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Formal childcare qualifications (e.g., Nanny diploma, Early Childhood Education).
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience working with expat families or in international settings.
• References from previous childcare roles.
