We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter / Joiner to join our team in Salamanca, Spain. This role is crucial for our projects, requiring proficiency in all aspects of carpentry and joinery, from initial measurement and cutting to final installation. As part of an English-speaking team, excellent communication skills in English are essential to ensure seamless coordination and project execution. You will be responsible for producing and installing high-quality timber structures, fittings, and fixtures in various construction projects, adhering to safety standards and project specifications. Responsabilidades Clave

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare and set out timber, cut, shape, and smooth wood using hand tools and power tools.
• Assemble and fasten parts to make frames, furniture, or other wooden articles.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, stairs, partition walls, and wooden floors.
• Inspect and repair damaged wooden structures or furniture.
• Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and project managers.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or Joiner.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Competence in using various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical strength and stamina for demanding tasks.
• Problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Vocational training or certification in carpentry or a related field.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
