We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team at our plant in Mojácar, Spain. This critical role involves optimizing chemical processes, ensuring operational efficiency, and contributing to the development of sustainable production methods within an English-speaking operational environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in chemical engineering principles, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent communication skills in English.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes and equipment to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Monitor and analyze process performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Conduct hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies and other safety analyses to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and R&D, to achieve operational goals.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, operating procedures, and technical reports.
- Participate in the scale-up of new products and processes from pilot to full commercial production.
- Troubleshoot process issues and provide technical support to plant operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects aimed at reducing costs and environmental impact.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a chemical manufacturing or industrial plant environment.
- Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mass transfer.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate in an English-speaking plant.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of process control systems (DCS, PLC).
- Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations (HSE).
