Descripción del Trabajo

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and managing our total rewards programs, ensuring they are competitive, fair, and aligned with BBVA’s strategic objectives and values. You will contribute to attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent by optimizing our compensation structures, benefits packages, and recognition initiatives. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsabilidades Clave

  • Conduct market research and analysis to ensure compensation and benefits programs remain competitive and compliant with local regulations.
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of global and local compensation structures, salary ranges, and incentive programs.
  • Administer and communicate employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Support annual compensation processes, such as salary reviews, bonus cycles, and promotions.
  • Analyze compensation data, prepare reports, and provide insights to HR Business Partners and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant compensation and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR technology teams to optimize HRIS for compensation and benefits management.
  • Develop and deliver effective communication materials to ensure employees understand their total rewards.
  • Manage vendor relationships related to benefits administration and compensation surveys.

Habilidades Requeridas

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits or Total Rewards.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, HRIS).
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, best practices, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) such.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CCP, CEBS).
  • Experience working in a multinational organization, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of global compensation and benefits trends.
