Join DHL Express in Barcelona as a Courier Sorting Belt Loader. In this fast-paced role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of packages through our sorting facility. You will be responsible for manually loading and unloading packages, scanning items, and ensuring they are correctly sorted for onward delivery. Responsabilidades Clave

• Manually load and unload packages and freight onto and off sorting belts and vehicles.
• Scan incoming and outgoing packages using handheld devices to ensure accurate tracking.
• Identify and sort packages by destination, ensuring they are placed on the correct belts or in designated areas.
• Operate essential material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the sorting area.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including manual handling techniques.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily sorting targets and deadlines.
• Report any damaged packages or sorting discrepancies to supervisors.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 25 kg repeatedly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Basic communication skills (verbal and written) in English or Spanish.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as required.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or sorting facility.
• Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of local geographical areas and postal codes.
• Proficiency in Spanish or Catalan.
