We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter / Dishwasher to join our vibrant culinary team at our 4-star resort in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to work in a dynamic kitchen environment. No Spanish language skills are required for this role, as our kitchen operates with an international team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen, supporting our chefs and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsabilidades Clave

• Operate dishwashing machinery efficiently and safely.
• Wash pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment by hand when necessary.
• Ensure all dishes and cutlery are sparkling clean and properly stored.
• Assist with the unloading and storage of food and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, kitchen, and storage areas.
• Empty bins and manage kitchen waste according to hotel procedures.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hotel hygiene standards.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 20kg).
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of English for communication within the team (no Spanish required).
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or Dishwasher in a hotel or restaurant setting.
