Descripción del Trabajo
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to join our International Distribution Center in Barcelona. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics processes, supporting both inbound and outbound international shipments. You will play a key role in inventory management, documentation, and coordination with various stakeholders to maintain high service levels and operational excellence.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Assist with the coordination and tracking of international shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including customs forms and bills of lading.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Support the warehouse team in daily operations, including receiving and dispatching goods.
- Resolve basic logistical issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and international shipping regulations.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for data entry and reporting.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Good communication skills in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- Associate's degree or vocational training in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Experience with customs documentation and international trade regulations.
- Knowledge of other European languages.
