We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Production Optimization to join our team in Figueres, Spain. This role is crucial for enhancing the efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying bottlenecks, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our production lines. You will work closely with production teams, R&D, and quality control to ensure operational excellence and foster a culture of innovation within our facilities.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions to optimize production flow, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) to achieve operational excellence.
• Conduct time studies, capacity planning, and bottleneck analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality, and maintenance to resolve production issues and implement new technologies.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on progress of optimization initiatives.
• Support the introduction of new products and processes into manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process optimization.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and CAD tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and smart factory technologies.
• Proficiency in Catalan is a plus.
