We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mining Engineer to join our Operations team in Seville, Andalusia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our mining processes, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and productivity. This position involves both strategic planning and hands-on execution, working closely with various departments to achieve production targets and implement best practices. You will be instrumental in continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Monitor and optimize day-to-day mining operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement short-term and medium-term mine plans, including drill and blast designs.
- Conduct detailed analysis of operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with geological, metallurgical, and maintenance teams to ensure integrated operational success.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project proposals for management review.
- Oversee resource allocation, equipment utilization, and operational budget management.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and development.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in mine operations.
- Proficiency in mining software (e.g., AutoCAD, Deswik, MineSight).
- Strong understanding of mining methods, geology, and mineral processing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proven track record of ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- Master's degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
- Knowledge of digital mining technologies and automation systems.
- Professional engineering license or ability to obtain one in Spain.
- Experience in large-scale open-pit or underground operations.
