We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NGO Project Coordinator to join our team in Port de la Selva, Catalonia. This critical role involves overseeing the planning, implementation, and monitoring of humanitarian projects, ensuring they align with MSF’s mission and operational standards. The Project Coordinator will be instrumental in managing project cycles, coordinating with local partners and stakeholders, and ensuring efficient resource allocation to achieve project objectives in the region.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of assigned projects in line with MSF operational strategies.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring adherence to quality standards and humanitarian principles.
• Manage project teams, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
• Foster strong relationships with local authorities, community leaders, partner organizations, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure effective communication and reporting on project progress, challenges, and successes to relevant internal and external parties.
• Monitor security and contextual developments, adapting project activities as necessary to ensure staff and beneficiary safety.
• Oversee financial management of projects, ensuring compliance with MSF and donor financial guidelines.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with project implementation, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Contribute to proposal writing and fundraising efforts by providing accurate project data and narratives.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably within an NGO or humanitarian context.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multicultural and challenging environments.
• Sound understanding of humanitarian principles and project cycle management.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in International Development, Humanitarian Aid, Public Health, or a related field.
• Experience working with MSF or other international NGOs in the field.
• Familiarity with the socio-political context of Catalonia or Spain.
• Proficiency in Catalan is a significant asset.
• Experience in emergency response or post-conflict settings.
