As a Packaging Technologist at Danone, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of packaging solutions for our innovative and sustainable products. This position requires a strong technical background in packaging materials and processes, with a keen eye for quality, cost-efficiency, and environmental impact. You will collaborate closely with R&D, supply chain, marketing, and external suppliers to bring new packaging concepts from idea to market. English proficiency is essential for international collaboration.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Lead packaging development projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
• Evaluate and select appropriate packaging materials and technologies to meet product requirements, cost targets, and sustainability goals.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance testing for new and existing packaging solutions.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, procurement, and marketing teams to define packaging specifications and ensure successful implementation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, new materials, and regulatory changes in packaging.
• Identify opportunities for packaging optimization, cost reduction, and sustainability improvements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and reports.
• Support production trials and troubleshoot packaging-related issues on the production line.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in packaging development within the FMCG or food industry.
• Strong knowledge of various packaging materials (plastics, paperboard, glass, metals) and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with packaging testing methods and equipment.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with sustainable packaging solutions (e.g., recycled content, compostable materials).
• Familiarity with European packaging regulations and standards.
• Knowledge of CAD software for packaging design.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
