We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Packaging Technologist with a passion for design to join our Research & Innovation team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the development, optimization, and implementation of innovative packaging solutions across our product portfolio. You will work closely with marketing, R&D, supply chain, and external suppliers to translate design concepts into manufacturable and sustainable packaging that delights our consumers and meets business objectives.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Lead the design, development, and testing of new packaging materials and formats from concept to launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into feasible packaging solutions.
• Conduct material selection, specification creation, and performance testing to ensure packaging integrity and quality.
• Manage pilot trials and production line validations, identifying and resolving any packaging-related issues.
• Ensure all packaging designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal quality guidelines.
• Evaluate and implement sustainable packaging initiatives, exploring eco-friendly materials and design principles.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and documentation for new and existing packaging.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and competitive landscape in packaging design and materials.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Industrial Design, Materials Science, or a related engineering field.
• 2+ years of experience in packaging development or design within the food, beverage, or FMCG industry.
• Proficiency in packaging design software (e.g., ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of various packaging materials (plastics, paperboard, glass, metals) and their properties.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience with sustainability initiatives in packaging (e.g., life cycle assessments, recycled content).
• Familiarity with packaging machinery and manufacturing processes.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
