We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Figueres. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing industrial processes within our manufacturing plants. This role involves analyzing current operations, identifying areas for improvement, and developing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the successful execution of projects from conception to completion.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Analyze and optimize existing industrial processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
• Design and develop new process control strategies and implement process improvements.
• Conduct process simulations and modeling to predict performance and identify potential issues.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot operational problems and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and update process documentation, including P&IDs, operating procedures, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Participate in capital projects, from conceptual design to commissioning and start-up.
• Monitor process performance using statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools.
• Provide technical support and training to operations personnel.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering within an industrial plant setting.
• Proven experience with process design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Hysys, Promax, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems (DCS, PLC).
• Prior experience in the automation, power, or heavy manufacturing industries.
• Project management experience.
