We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented English Proofreaders and Editors to join our freelance network. This 100% remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, allowing you to contribute to a variety of exciting projects, ensuring the highest standards of linguistic accuracy and stylistic quality. You will be responsible for reviewing and editing content across diverse subjects, maintaining consistency, clarity, and grammatical correctness while adhering to client-specific style guides.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Thoroughly proofread and edit English content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
• Ensure factual accuracy, consistency, clarity, and adherence to client-specific style guides and glossaries.
• Review texts for appropriate tone, flow, and readability.
• Identify and correct any linguistic errors or inconsistencies within the content.
• Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client materials.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Native-level proficiency in English with exceptional command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
• Proven experience in proofreading and editing various types of content (e.g., marketing, technical, legal, creative).
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for errors.
• Strong understanding of different style guides (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago, AP).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work setup.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ).
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
• Prior freelance experience with a global language service provider.
