We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dedicated Cost Management team in Sagunto, Valencia. This pivotal role involves managing all commercial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring financial control, value for money, and contractual compliance. The successful candidate will play a critical role in project success, working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver projects within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budget proposals, and detailed tender documents.
• Conduct thorough feasibility studies, risk assessments, and value engineering exercises.
• Manage the procurement process, including contractor selection, negotiation, and contract finalization.
• Administer construction contracts, including managing variations, claims, and extensions of time.
• Prepare and submit interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts.
• Monitor and report on project financial performance, cash flow, and cost forecasts.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks, ensuring project profitability.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Strong proficiency in cost estimation, cost control, and financial reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, legal frameworks, and procurement methods.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., MS Office, cost management platforms).
• Fluent in both English and Spanish.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• RICS or equivalent professional accreditation (e.g., ICE, CIOB).
• Experience with FIDIC or NEC contract forms.
• Prior experience working on large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
