We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Scaffolding Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Bogotá, Colombia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of scaffolding erection, alteration, and dismantling on our construction sites, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and project specifications. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in scaffolding systems, and excellent communication skills, particularly in English, to coordinate with an international team and manage diverse workforces.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Supervise and lead a team of scaffolding erectors, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
• Plan, organize, and inspect scaffolding structures according to blueprints, engineering designs, and safety standards.
• Ensure all scaffolding operations comply with local regulations, company policies, and international best practices (e.g., OSHA, EN standards).
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote a safe working environment.
• Inspect scaffolding materials for defects and ensure proper storage and handling.
• Maintain accurate records of scaffolding inspections, modifications, and inventory.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and other supervisors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Train and mentor junior scaffolding personnel.
• Ensure the timely completion of scaffolding tasks within project schedules.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor in large-scale construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of various scaffolding systems (e.g., tube and coupler, system scaffolding) and their erection/dismantling procedures.
• Strong understanding of national and international scaffolding safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English for international communication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid Scaffolding Supervisor certification (e.g., CISRS, SAIA, or equivalent).

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Relevant engineering or construction management degree/diploma.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Experience working on projects with international teams or foreign contractors.
• Proficiency in Spanish to communicate with local workforce.
• Advanced safety training certifications.
