We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Stagehand / Event Rigger to join our dynamic team in Chamberi, Madrid. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about live events, concerts, and theatrical productions. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient setup, operation, and strike of various production elements, including lighting, audio, video, and scenic structures. Prior experience in rigging is highly preferred. Crucially, this role requires no knowledge of the Spanish language, as English will be the primary language of communication within the team and for job tasks.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring equipment is handled safely and efficiently.
• Set up and dismantle audio, video, lighting, and staging equipment according to technical specifications and safety guidelines.
• Perform rigging tasks, including climbing, operating lifts, and working at heights to hang equipment, scenery, and truss structures.
• Operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with equipment during events.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate effectively with production managers, technical directors, and other crew members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a stagehand or event technician (at least 2 years).
• Demonstrable experience in theatrical or event rigging.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and equipment handling.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 25 kg) and work in various physical positions.
• Comfortable working at heights and in challenging environments.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English.
• Valid driver's license.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Relevant certifications in rigging (e.g., ETCP, IRATA, or equivalent).
• Experience with specific types of entertainment technology (e.g., grandMA consoles, L-Acoustics systems, d3 media servers).
• Forklift or aerial work platform (AWP) certification.
• First Aid certification.
