Join Pristine Peaks Adventure Camp as a Summer Camp Counselor and be a part of an incredible team dedicated to shaping memorable experiences for our campers. This is a fantastic opportunity for energetic and enthusiastic individuals who love working with children and thrive in an outdoor setting. As a counselor, you will be responsible for supervising campers, leading activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their stay. Accommodation and meals are provided, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the camp experience without worrying about daily living expenses. This role requires a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and fun environment for all participants.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Supervise a group of campers, ensuring their safety and adherence to camp rules at all times.
• Lead and facilitate a variety of recreational activities, including sports, arts and crafts, hiking, and team-building games.
• Act as a positive role model, mentor, and guide for campers, encouraging personal growth and social development.
• Assist with daily camp operations, including meal supervision, cabin clean-up, and evening programming.
• Mediate conflicts and provide support to campers, addressing any concerns or issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Participate in staff training and regular meetings to enhance program delivery and camp safety.
• Communicate effectively with fellow counselors, camp leadership, and parents (when necessary).
• Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed, including first aid administration for minor injuries.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience working with children or youth (volunteer or paid).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
• Patience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before camp starts).

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Experience in specific camp activities such as lifeguarding, climbing, archery, or specific sports.
• Background in education, recreation, child development, or a related field.
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English) is a plus.
• Previous summer camp experience as a counselor or camper.
