Barceló Hotel Group is seeking an enthusiastic and certified Surf Instructor / Watersports Guide to join our vibrant team at one of our stunning beachfront resorts. While this recruitment is managed from our Madrid office, the successful candidate will be based at a beautiful coastal location in Spain, guiding guests through thrilling surf sessions and a variety of watersports activities. This role involves ensuring guest safety, providing high-quality instruction, maintaining equipment, and creating an unforgettable experience for all. Responsabilidades Clave

• Provide professional and engaging surf and watersports instruction to guests of all ages and skill levels.
• Ensure the safety of all participants during activities, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Conduct equipment checks, maintenance, and storage, ensuring all gear is in excellent working condition.
• Assess weather and sea conditions to determine appropriate activities and ensure a safe environment.
• Organize and lead group lessons, private sessions, and other watersports programs (e.g., paddleboarding, kayaking).
• Promote a positive and encouraging atmosphere, fostering a love for watersports among guests.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of watersports equipment on the beach.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of lessons, participant waivers, and equipment usage.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and guest satisfaction as a representative of Barceló Hotel Group.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Certified Surf Instructor (ISA Level 1 or equivalent).
• Valid Lifeguard or Beach Safety Certification.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Proven experience in teaching surf and other watersports.
• Strong swimming abilities and physical fitness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Additional watersports instructor certifications (e.g., SUP, Kitesurf, Windsurf).
• Experience working in a resort or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of local marine life and environmental conservation.
• Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., German, French).
• Driving license.
