We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Girona, Catalonia. This role is crucial for overseeing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will be a key player in managing site operations, coordinating with various stakeholders, and implementing engineering designs. Given our international projects and diverse workforce, proficiency in English is a mandatory requirement for effective communication and collaboration.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Manage and oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Interpret and implement engineering drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and other documentation as required.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities.
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure all work meets required standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site personnel.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment.
• Participate in site meetings and contribute to project planning and scheduling.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Site Engineer in large-scale construction projects.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) – essential for project communication.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Valid driver's license.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of Spanish or Catalan.
• Experience with BIM software.
• Familiarity with local Catalan and Spanish construction standards and practices.
• Professional engineering license or chartership.
