We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our professional team at Alicante Smile Clinic. This is a fantastic opportunity for an English-speaking hygienist to provide high-quality oral healthcare services to our international patient base. You will be responsible for performing a variety of hygiene procedures, educating patients on oral health, and contributing to a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a genuine passion for patient well-being.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
• Administer local anesthesia as permitted by scope of practice.
• Take and develop dental radiographs.
• Assess oral health conditions, document findings, and chart all procedures.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Provide post-operative instructions and care recommendations.
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and clinic protocols.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in Spain (or equivalent recognized qualification)
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist, ideally in an international setting
• Excellent clinical skills in prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral pathology, and pharmacology
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental radiographs
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build rapport with patients of diverse backgrounds
• Commitment to patient education and preventive care
