Are you passionate about international HR and supporting global talent? Deloitte is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Global Mobility Specialist to join our dynamic team in Vigo, Galicia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating the smooth relocation of our professionals across borders, ensuring compliance with immigration, tax, and social security regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for an English-speaking professional with a strong understanding of international HR processes and a commitment to providing exceptional service. You will work closely with various internal departments and external vendors to manage assignments from initiation to completion, contributing to our employees’ successful transitions and our firm’s global strategy.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Manage end-to-end global mobility processes for international assignments, including short-term, long-term, and permanent transfers.
- Act as a primary point of contact for assignees, providing guidance and support on all aspects of their relocation, including immigration, tax, housing, and cultural assimilation.
- Coordinate with external immigration providers, tax advisors, and relocation services to ensure timely and compliant service delivery.
- Prepare assignment cost projections, compensation packages, and letters of assignment in collaboration with HR and finance teams.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant immigration, tax, social security, and labor laws in various jurisdictions.
- Maintain accurate records and databases of all global mobility activities and assignee information.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of global mobility policies and procedures.
- Provide regular updates and reports on assignee status and program effectiveness to management.
- Conduct pre-assignment briefings and post-arrival support sessions for assignees and their families.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a global mobility, international HR, or expatriate management role.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal) is essential.
- Strong understanding of international immigration, tax, and social security regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- Proficiency in Spanish or Galician is a plus.
- Experience with global mobility software or HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP).
- Knowledge of European Union mobility regulations.
- Certification in global mobility (e.g., GMS, CRP).
