We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Social Media Moderator for English content to join our remote team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive and safe user experience across Meta’s various platforms by reviewing and moderating user-generated content in English. You will uphold community guidelines, identify and remove inappropriate content, and respond to user inquiries and reports. This position requires strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This is a 100% remote position.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content (posts, comments, images, videos) in English across multiple social media platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines and terms of service.
- Identify and promptly remove content that is offensive, harmful, spam, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Respond to user reports and inquiries regarding content moderation decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues or identify emerging content trends.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of moderation policies and procedures.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in content review.
- Provide feedback on content trends and potential platform vulnerabilities.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (native or near-native proficiency).
- Proven ability to make sound judgments and decisions under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify nuanced content violations.
- High level of empathy and understanding of diverse perspectives.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and their respective community guidelines.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate various software tools.
